Quality Enhancement Plan

As part of its reaffirmation of accreditation, New College has developed a Quality Enhancement Plan called "Seminars in Critical Inquiry." This plan institutes rigorous and challenging optional first- and second-year courses that introduce students to foundational research and writing skills through a focus on evaluation of evidence, argument, and revision. The first link below leads to the plan itself, submitted to the Reaffirmation Commitee in September 2008. The next link leads to the membership of the QEP Steering Committee. The third link connects with documents related to the development of the QEP as well as notes on the ongoing workshops that support the development of these seminars.
