January 20, 2008 Dedication of Helen N. Fagin Holocaust Library Collection
New College is pleased to announce the dedication of the Dr. Helen N.
Fagin Holocaust Collection at Jane Bancroft Cook Library, taking place
on Sunday, January 20 in Sainer Auditorium. To date, individual and
corporate sponsors have contributed more than $40,000 and 1,000 volumes
to this important collection, honoring Holocaust survivor and former
University of Miami professor Dr. Helen Fagin. Dr. Fagin and supporters
of this project have announced their intent to make this collection the
State of Florida’s leading resource on Holocaust history.
