Check out Gearhead Magazine, an online mountain biking magazine. Also has good listing of mountain bike trails.
Sheldon Brown--Damn, this dude knows a hell of a lot about bikes! For all hard-to-find answers about bikes, go here! And go here to answer even the questions you never thought to ask. This site is a tremendous resource for technical information about everything having to do with the bicycle.
