Karsten Henckell

Associate Professor of Mathematics/Computer Science

Professor Henckell’s research is in the boundary area between Mathematics and Computer Science. He has a special interest in Artificial Intelligence and game programming and in Environmental Studies.  In addition to teaching, he is a chess master and “3-dan” master of Go.

Professor Henckell teaches courses in Mathematics and Computer Science. Discrete Math, Algebra, Set Theory, Logic, Language Theory, and Theory of Computation are his favorites.
