Political Scientist Joseph Mink is writing a book on Temperance and the American Liberal Tradition (the subject of his dissertation at the University of Pennsylvania).  Before coming to New College, Mink taught at Mount Holyoke and Bryn Mawr Colleges on a number of topics in political theory and American politics including Modern Political Thought, Visions of the City, The American Presidency, Race and American Political Development, American Political Thought, Politics and Popular Culture, and American Constitutional Interpretation to list just a few.
