Sudakoff Center
The Harry Sudakoff Conference Center is the largest meeting facility available at New College. Located on our East Campus, the center is adjacent to the Sarasota-Bradenton International Airport and just a few miles from downtown Sarasota. It provides a convenient location for both visitors and area residents. There are ample parking spaces available at the facility and nearby hotels offer shuttle service.
Moveable wall panels in the space allow for a variety of configurations. The entire auditorium arranged theater style accommodates 400 people. Set up classroom or cabaret style the facility accommodates approximately 200 people. Four classroom spaces can be walled off for breakout purposes, and each will accommodate 50 persons lecture style or 25 persons classroom style. The East Lobby can be used as additional meeting space, for registration or as a small reception area.
The facilty is named in honor of Harry Sudakoff, a successful builder and developer from New York City who relocated to Sarasota in the early 1960’s. Mr. Sudakoff had a lifelong spirit of generosity and believed in making an impact with his contributions.
